When I slowly climb down my tree I get to see some of my friends who made their home on the jungle floor. Hola Olivia! Olivia is an Ocelot; she has many pretty stripes on her fur and likes to sleep in the shape of a ball. Artie and his sister Rosalie are very hungry Anteaters. Can you guess what they love to eat? Joel, is a Jaguar with very shiny black fur, sharp teeth and long claws, sometimes he climbs up a tree to take a nap – I don’t bother him too much. Coco the caterpillar loves to munch all day on leaves and go shopping for hats; she is very fashionable.
The most popular animals in the jungle are Dora and her friend Yiggi. Yiggi is a yigüirro; she is not the most colorful bird but she sure can sing! Dora and Yiggi are Costa Rica's National animals so you can see their pictures in a lot of places around Costa Rica. They are superstars!
*****(The Clay-colored Thrush) Show Yiggi on top of Dora's head having pictures taken of them
Some of my friends spend a lot of time in the water – Look for Tomas. Tomas is a Sea Turtle. Tomas may move slow on land, but he can swim up to 20 miles an hour in the water.
Can you find my friend Cruz? He is a Caiman Crocodile and loves to hide underwater looking up through the plants.
Oh look! There is Joyce, a Jacana bird. Joyce spends a lot of time near the water turning over lily pads looking for something to eat. She likes fish and insects the best. --

(I really like all the characters on this page except for Joel the Jaguar and Sadie) The sizing looks off - they look too small. Can you please remove them? The animals on the next page look great. I would just make the turtle a little smaller.
Erin move this part of the text to where the tree is - since it got flipped>

Tomas is a Sea Turtle. Tomas may move slow on land, but he can swim up to 20 miles an hour in the water. That's very fast for a turtle!
Add some color to Joyce's head either yellow or red (crown) I will send you a picture. Maybe put a fish or insect near her feet since she likes to hunt for that.
Sonia and Yiggi are Costa Rica's National animals so you can see their pictures in a lot of places around Costa Rica. They are very popular! Yiggi is a yigüirro; she is not the most colorful bird but she sure can sing!

This is looking GREAT! Any chance you can do a two page spread for the animals in the trees and a two page spread for the animals in the water?
Lets remove Olivia and anyway to make Joel the Jaguar a little more scary?

This needs to be 2 pages each
2 pages for jungle floor animals and 2 pages for the water animals.
fun idea - put a couple of ants on the anteater's tongue
Erin GREAT JOB! I really love the way this looks now - it's less crowded and a lot easier to read! You did a very good job, thank you!
